The Chiije ceramic mug — the same vessel as the Candle-Mug, without wax. It comes in our beautifully glazed colours Blue, White, and Cream.

Made to drink from. Pair it with a Candle-Mug or build a set.

Because the mugs are handcrafted with the manual slip casting method, the actual shape and size will vary with every product. The average size is 350 ml.

The Chiije Mugs come without the logo on the side, just as pure mug, to be enjoyed in your favourite drinking rituals.

Caring for your Chiije mug

Chiije ceramics are made to be used every day. A little care keeps the glaze quiet and the piece in the kitchen for years.

Daily use

The mug holds about 400 ml — coffee, tea, matcha.
Ceramic holds heat; give a very hot drink a moment before the first sip.
Not for the microwave, oven, or stovetop.

Washing

Hand wash with warm water and a little mild soap.
Do not use boiling water, or put a hot mug into cold water — sudden temperature changes can stress the ceramic.
Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners that dull the glaze.
Dry fully before stacking or putting away.

The candle
