Returns & Refunds
We want you to feel confident shopping with Chiije. As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal when purchasing products online, in accordance with Norwegian and EU consumer protection laws.
Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
If you are purchasing as a private consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.

Return Conditions
To qualify for a return, the item must be:
- Unused and unlit
- In the same condition as received
- Returned in its original packaging
- Suitable for resale
For health, safety, and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns of candles that have been lit, used, or otherwise altered. This is permitted under applicable consumer law where the value of the product is diminished through use.
How to Return an Item
Email us at hello@chiije.com within 14 days of delivery to notify us of your withdrawal.
We will provide return instructions.
Return the item within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
Unless the item is defective or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item:
Refunds are issued to the original payment method
The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the return or proof of return
Original shipping costs are refunded where required by law
We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it.
Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item and include photos if possible, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
In these cases, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original product in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Norwegian or EU consumer law.
