Caring for your Chiije diffuser
A Chiije reed diffuser is made for a steady, low-maintenance release of scent. A few simple habits keep the fragrance clear and the vessel looking intentional.
Placement
- Set the vessel on a stable surface away from direct sunlight and strong heat.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Avoid placing on unfinished wood or delicate surfaces that may mark if oil spills.
First set-up
- Place the reeds into the vessel and allow a few hours for the oil to travel.
- For a stronger throw, use more reeds; for a softer presence, use fewer.
Maintenance
- Flip the reeds every week or two to refresh the scent.
- Wipe any drips from the neck of the vessel promptly.
- If the throw softens, replace reeds rather than overloading the bottle.
Longevity
- With ordinary care, expect a season of scent (about three to four months), depending on room airflow and reed count.
